SO, YOU'RE (FICTITIOUSLY) HERE, AT NO.6 TITUS STREET - A CLASSIC SALTAIRE HOME. YOU'RE ON THE DOORSTEP, ABOUT TO ENTER THE 'STUDENT HOUSE' EXHIBITION.
THERE IS CAPTIVATING ART OF ALL VARIETIES IN EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY - A FEAST FOR YOUR SENSES.
THIS YEAR'S STUDENT HOUSE IS A DIGITAL ADAPTATION OF WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN, SO AT A TIME WHERE DIGITAL IMAGERY IS ALL WE HAVE, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO LOOK BEYOND THIS. WHEN YOU 'WALK' INTO THE HOME GALLERY, ENVISION THE WAY THAT THE TEXTILES MOVE WITH THE DRAUGHTS OF THE CROWD. AS YOU 'STEP OUT' IN THE GARDEN, SEE SALTS MILL CHIMNEY FILLING EMPTY SPACES BEHIND BEAUTIFUL CANVASES.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND HERE ISN'T A REPLICA - NOTHING CAN TOTALLY REPLACE FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. BUT LET US TRY (BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE WE'RE PRETTY CLOSE).

TOUR OUR STUDENT HOUSE
Our Student House exhibition features a selection of work from twelve students of Bradford School of Art, giving them a platform for their work to be seen and celebrated during these times of social distancing.
This year the Saltaire Inspired Arts Trail has gone digital and as a branch of this, our student exhibitors have reimagined their homes and what the very concept of an 'exhibition' can be. We encourage you as an audience to envision this selection of work in its physical state as you navigate through the Student House.
